Scanwel COVID 19 update - Scanwel

We hope that this message finds you, your family and colleagues well in these unprecedented times. We wanted to update you on the current situation at Scanwel in regards to the COVID-19 outbreak.

We want to reassure our customers that we are still open for business, responding to enquiries and shipping goods as normal. Our workshop is also operating, our shelves are well stocked and most of our suppliers are also working. Having said this, above all our priority is to ensure the health and safety of our employees. We have therefore implemented the following measures according to government guidance:

– All staff who are able to do so are working from home. Scanwel was already well set up for this prior to the outbreak and our staff are experienced in working in this way. We are able to access all our files remotely and our VoIP phone system allows us to operate the Scanwel phone lines from any location.

– The large size of the Scanwel building and an alternate pattern of working in some cases allow us to maintain a 2m separation between remaining staff

– All staff and customer meetings are being conducted online or by phone. At this time we are not accepting any non-essential visitors to the Scanwel building, and if you have an appointment we advise you to contact us to postpone it to a later date or move it online.
